It is with deep sadness I send my deepest sympathies to Shirani and Vetha, Niranjan, Antonette and children, and Nihal’s mother. Nihal was a talented and creative entertainer; his creative juices were clearly evident in two of his originals, “Yarl Paanem Ponenadi” and “Carmel Road – Main Road Junction”, the lyrics he himself had written. These songs were very special to those of us who grew up in the late 60’s and 70’s. Nihal will be missed by many and will be in our prayers. May his soul rest in peace.
