It is with very heavy heart I’m writing this tribute to Nihal. I came to know Nihal from my school days during the upper school time and the relationship started as just acquaintance and then developed into friendship. Our friendship got stronger during our time in U.K. Of course Nihal is famous for his musical talent and his dedication towards St. Patrick’s College and the alumni association U.K. But more than anything, I loved him for who he was. During my long time of knowing him, I never heard him say anything bad about anyone. He always saw good in everyone and always enjoyed helping others. He wasn’t a very rich man in monetary terms but was enriched by his generosity. The other most important character that I admired was his inner peace. He was a man who was self sufficient with what he had. We are all living in a very materialistic world and always want more. But Nihal was always happy with what he had and never wanted more. That was a gem of a character. I also would like to leave a word of appreciation to Anto and the 3 children Sujit, Pio & Ananthy who had been the important pillars in his life and made him a very happy and proud man. Good bye my friend. We will miss you a lot in our regular get together. May your soul Rest In Peace. Dear Anto, Sujit, Pio & family, Ananthy, Aunty, Shiranee & Vetha, Niranjan & Jeeva, please accept our heartfelt condolences. Our prayers & thoughts are with you at this difficult time. Ruban & Oosha
