Please accept our heartfelt condolences on the loss of your precious eldest son, brother, husband, Father and uncle. Michael and I are still mourning over the death of our beloved friend Nihal. We loved him very much as a person in Jaffna as a youth and then as a man after he settled in UK. We heard him singing so beautifully in touching way at SPE events, Michael’s Parents’ funeral Masses, my mother’s funeral and Sr Sophie’s anniversary event. Thank you very much to Alex for his beautiful article about Nihal that tells the History of Nihal in London. I didn’t know that UK honored Nihal at the SPC dinner. Thanks for honoring him. I heard that Canada invited him but he didn’t go. I guess he was not well at that time. No one told us that Nihal was not well. We were in a shock when we heard the death news from Alex. Michael and I have cold and cough these days. Therefore, we won’t be able to travel to London. I’m looking for Photographs that I took. I’ve attached seven photos below. I’ll write to Antenet and their children with Salesian Mass offerings and sympathy card next week. We have been praying for Nihal and his family. With deepest Sympathy, Prayers and Love
