Very sad to learn about Nihal Annan. I know him from my childhood, coming to tuition to my late uncle SM Christy with fond memories he had about my uncle that he shared with me many times then growing up years, he captured me with great admiration to his mesmerising voice and pop music. I remember meeting Nihal Annan when he was on holiday from here while I was still studying at the college and I was thinking to go to the UK and his positive suggestion about it at that time. I also, remember bringing Annan to few St Patrick's Day Mass with his sound equipment and him playing the guitar for the choir and participation and entertaining us with his music afterwards. Meeting at other family gatherings and visiting him to spend good times with house full collection of various keyboards, mixer and other musical gadgets; church choir rehearsals for happy and sad events in the community. I thank God for his faith, respect, humbleness, openness and appreciating the good in others. Merciful Lord, have mercy upon him; console and strengthen all his family especially Aunty Rani, Shiraneea Akka, Niranjan, Antoinette Akka, children & many of his close friends at this time of great loss of a cheerful person. Thank God, we honoured Nihal Annan at the Christmas gathering last year. Nothing can separate from the love of God.
